Silver Sands Casino has a number of regular promotions for loyal players, most of which will match your deposit by a certain amount. These promos are prone to change, but we’ll give you a list of available bonus codes at the moment of writing.

You can find all ongoing promotions in the casino site’s promotions section. However, some bonus codes are sent by email to your account. Therefore, it’s also good to subscribe to the casino’s newsletter to stay up-to-date with all Silver Sands bonus codes.

Silver Sands is one of the most trusted South African casinos, and with good reason too. The casino has been online since 1999. Having earned the trust of thousands of customers across 2+ decades of operation.

The casino holds a license by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Though not held in high esteem as the MGA or MGA, Kahnawake is a solid foundation for non-EU casinos such as Silver Sands. The site also protects your information from any vulnerabilities through 256-bit SSL encryption.

Silver Sands Casino also links out to a TST certification of RNG fairness related to their Real Time Gaming lobby, but the date of the report is 2009. Though RTG is a well-known name for South African casinos, a recent report would do a lot of good for all parties.

The site has a responsible gambling page, with a number of helpful tips on controlling your gambling sessions. You will also find a phone number and email line to the South African National Gambling Helpline.

Silver Sands also links out to a handful of gaming control software programs you can download to your computer.

You can also take advantage of deposit limits (daily, weekly, monthly), as well as self-exclude for up to 6 months.

As far as payment methods for deposits and withdrawals go, Silver Sands gives you several options between e-wallets, bank transfer and debit cards. The casino’s banking section is well-organized. It contains detailed information on all payment options, including limits, fees and verification procedures.

Good news for South African players will be the availability of EasyEFT. That’s in addition to the likes of Skrill, Neteller and ecoPayz.

You can also make deposits by debit and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard) and SiD (Secure Instant Deposit).

Unfortunately, Silver Sands Casino only allows withdrawal by Internet bank transfer.

You need to go through a few steps before you are eligible for withdrawals. These steps are related to security and identity verification.

The casino requires you send a fax back form containing your card picture/scan, personal ID and bank transfer details. These requirements may vary depending on your deposit method. For any doubts, refer to customer support by live chat, email or the provided toll free number: 0800 983 741.

Silver Sands casino is powered by Real Time Gaming. This means you can expect hundreds of well-paying games of all kinds. The RTG client’s only flaw is the lack of a live casino, but other than that you will have a wide choice in slots, table games and miscellaneous titles.
Best of all, you can choose to download or instant play directly from your web browser. We’ve left download instructions below, and after that we discuss the types of games you can expect.

Classic and Video Slots

Silver Sands Casino is strong in the classic slots department. You can sort games by 3, 5 or 6 reels, meaning it’s easy to find what you like. Out of the 3-reel slot portfolio, we can recommend titles such as The Three Stooges and 7’s and Stripes.

Then you have classic video slot hits such as Achilles Deluxe, Cash Bandits 3, Halloween Treasures and Fire Dragon. Though, there is plenty more to be explored at Silver Sands casino – but we’ll leave that to you!

A number of progressives are on display as well. Spirit of the Inca, Megasaur and most importantly: Aztec’s Millions, with a jackpot of R26,000,000 at the time of writing. Though, if you win a jackpot, Silver Sands will pay it out in installments – so keep in that in mind!

Table Games & Video Poker

Blackjack and poker players will have the most to look forward to at Silver Sands online casino. Variants such as Suit ‘Em Up and Perfect Pairs are the highlights of the blackjack selection.
Poker players can look forward to the likes of Pai Gow, Tri Card Poker and Caribbean Stud.

European and American Roulette, alongside a single table of baccarat, round off’ the classic table game offering at Silver Sands Casino.

Video Poker fans can look forward to 50+ variations. All fan-favorites are included. Such as Jacks or Better, Aces & Eights and All South African – to name a few.

The Silver Sands Casino mobile app works excellent on mobile devices. You can access the site by web browser, and all common platforms are supported: iPhone/iPad, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone.

The Real Time Gaming lobby is not fully optimized for mobiles. However, you can still browse through dozens of mobile slots and table games. In our experience, we didn’t encounter into performance-related issues, tested on a midrange device.

For convenience, you can access mobile live chat if you ever run into issues while playing. You can also visit the cashier to make deposits/withdrawals, and edit your account info.

All in all, barring the limited gaming selection, Silver Sands mobile meets all needs for the modern smartphone player.

No, as Silver Sands online casino is powered by Real Time Gaming, the client does not have a live dealer section. If you like table games, the RTG client has a number of virtual tables of classics.

This is definitely one aspect that Silver Sands could improve. This may entail changing their license, because Evolution Gaming and NetEnt Live are not in cooperation with Kahnawake.

If this is a deal breaker for you, we can refer you to browse other SA casinos, many of which hold diverse live gaming clients powered by market leaders.

Unfortunately, the casino Silver Sands does not have a VIP program for regular players. The casino has some high-roller bonuses you can look into. But, we can’t provide any details as these promos are prone to change. However, contacting customer support will resolve all your questions in no time.

On the flipside, all players earn comp points simply by playing any casino game in the lobby.

For each R2 you spend, you get one comp point.

Then, you can exchange 500 comp points for R1 in bonus cash. This bonus cash is subject to specific terms and conditions. Please refer to the casino site for all the details.

Silver Sands' online casino support team is available around the clock through all possible channels. Best way of getting quick help would be by resorting to live chat.

Live chat response times vary. At times, we would be contacted within a minute. Whereas on some occasions we waited for up to 15 minutes. It depends on the current traffic and time of day.

We really like the fact you have a direct support phone line you can contact any time. Phone support may also be able to address some issues that live chat isn’t capable of. We recommend you dial the toll free number for complicated matters related to payments and verification.

Last but not least, non-urgent matters can be settled by email. Email response times can take up to 24 hours, which is understandable. Unfortunately, there’s no FAQ section to browse through.

Silver Sands online casino is a South African site through and through. The casino site accepts ZAR as the only currency besides EUR. Players from other countries are welcomed, but the fact stands that South African players are the main focus.

This is evident everywhere you look, such as payment methods in the likes of SiD and EasyEFT. Then of course the free SA contact number for support, RTG gaming selection and ZAR promotions.

Therefore, it’s safe to say that if you’re considering joining from South Africa, this casino is made for you from the ground up.
