How CasinoSectors Earns

Last Update

A thousand casino files do not stay current by themselves. Someone reads the bonus small print, pushes rand through test accounts and re-checks licence registers, and those hours cost money. Readers are never charged for the index. Casino brands carry the bill through affiliate deals, and this page shows how those deals work and where they stop.

Four facts first

  • A large share of the brand links in the index are affiliate links.
  • Register through one and the brand may pay us; your cost stays at zero.
  • Money buys a brand a tracked link — it never buys points or a higher row.
  • There is no banner inventory for sale, no sponsored review and no tip jar.

Who pays, and for what

The company behind CasinoSectors has signed affiliate paperwork with several offshore casino brands, and with the partner programmes that run their marketing. If a reader clicks through from a file, opens an account and funds it, the brand's tracking system notes that this player came via our desk. What follows depends on the contract: a one-off fee for each newly funded account, a percentage of what the brand earns from that player for an agreed number of months, or a blend. Some deals pay out only once a threshold of referred players has been reached.

Brands report to us in totals. Names, ID scans, deposit amounts and balances of individual players never reach the desk, and we have no wish to see them.

Your offer is not touched

Commission is paid from the brand's acquisition budget, not from your stake. Welcome package, playthrough, cash-out caps and fees match exactly what a player gets by typing the casino's address in directly. Occasionally a brand agrees something better for our readers — extra spins, a lower minimum top-up — and in that case the file labels it in plain words as an exclusive.

Recognising a paid link

Three markers give an affiliate link away on CasinoSectors:

  • it is a “Visit”, “Claim” or “Play” button inside a sector table, an operator file or a bonus page;
  • its address begins with /go/ on casinosectors.com and only then forwards to the brand;
  • its markup carries rel="sponsored", the label search engines use for commercial links.

A click is logged by our server, which hands the brand a random visit code; the brand matches any new account to the desk by that code. Your name and mailbox are not part of that code. The four cookies behind this — mz_vid and mz_src site-wide, plus mozbiz_session and XSRF-TOKEN on /go/ — are listed in the cookie policy.

Why money cannot move a row

Paying or not, each brand passes through the same checklist from how we rate: ownership, issuing regulator, how rand actually moves in and out, what the bonus rules say when read to the last line, and how support treats a South African account. That score, and only that score, fixes the order in a sector. No brand can buy a jump up a table, the deletion of a weak point or an exit from the “Casinos we avoid” list. Several brands we hold contracts with sit near the bottom of their sector; several of our better-scored files bring in nothing.

Writers on the desk are not shown commission rates and receive no per-sign-up bonus. Requests from brands are accepted only when they correct a fact and come with evidence — a newly added payment route, a revised match amount. When a contract ends, the file stays up with its score intact.

Our interest, out in the open

More sign-ups mean more revenue for us, so we do benefit when you join a casino. Over time we also earn more from players who stay with a brand that treated them fairly than from players who quit after a week, which is partly why our files dwell on the weak spots of every offer. Read our scores with that interest in mind. And keep in view that real-money online casino play has no South African licence; the important notice spells out what that means.

The contracting party
