VoodooDreams Casino Review

Here’s an online casino that’s not afraid to open its game collection, expose itself in front of thousands of casino players with a generous welcome bonus from the get-go. While the previous amount used to come in 4 installments, today VoodooDreams Casino has opted for a simple first deposit bonus as well as free spins.

First, we will show you the casino's SA offer, followed by VoodooDreams welcome bonus for other countries.

The SA terms are fair across the board, though you must consider the fact your deposit + bonus amount need to be wagered. The maximum cashout of R10,000 is not too restrictive, but it's worthy to keep in mind nonetheless.

Bonus players need to wager the bonus amount 40 times before they can request any withdrawals. Any winnings that are a direct result of Free Spins are subject to 40 times wagering requirement as well. However, not all is that bad. VoodooDreams does not discriminate against table game players. In other words, even bonus players that are into table game players get what they want.

• Video Slots – 100%
• Classic Slots – 100%
• Jackpot Slots – 100%
• Scratch Cards – 100%
• Blackjack – 5%
• Baccarat – 5%
• Punto Banco – 5%
• Three Card Poker – 5%
• Oasis Poker – 5%
• Live Casino Games – 5%
• Other TABLE GAMES – 40%

5% contribution to wagering requirements doesn’t seem like much, however, considering the length of some play sessions you will have, you will complete the wagering requirements sooner than later.

At first, we didn’t know if this is a loyalty program, or just a distinctive rewarding scheme. As it turns out, VoodooDreams Casino comes with a special rewards program which requires players to collect Spirit Points and Experience Points. Spirit Points have their own purpose, and they can be exchanged for valuable bonus deals. Experience points on the other hand, they determine what Level you are and how powerful spells you can get. Casting a spell grants you a bonus reward, and from what we’ve seen, there are 4 different types of magic. This sounds like some game with dragons and mystical monsters. Nevertheless, here are the types of “magic spells” you can cast:

• Blood Magic – casting 3 spells brings you Free Spins on your next deposit. Occasionally, the games might be predefined for a specific game, but several games can qualify as well.
• Dark Magic – casting a Dark Magic spell gives you a modest deposit bonus.
• Light Magic – similar to Dark Magic, but this time around, you get a large deposit bonus.
• Spirit Magic – the most valuable spells you can cast, Spirit Magic. As you might’ve expected, you get the most valuable bonus treats when you cast these spells. You get Free Spins free from wagering requirements, and you also can get free cash, cash, once you cast a Spirit Magic spell. You can withdraw the funds immediately or play as you please. Spirit Magic spells like any other type of spell, are directly related to the player’s Level at VoodooDreams Casino.

This acts like a standard and a loyalty program at the same time, because the more you play, the more active you are, the bigger and more frequent the bonuses are.

In spite of its theme, being all dark, gloomy, and mystical, the casino is still a licensed and a safe place to enjoy your favorite online casino games. Besides this, VoodooDreams Casino comes as a rather passionate responsible gaming promoter, featuring 4 different responsible gaming organizations, the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation, Gamblers Anonymous South Africa, the National Responsible Gambling Programme and the leading GambleAware.

VoodooDreams Casino operates under the license granted by the Malta Gaming Authority. In addition, the casino comes with a standard SSL encryption certificate, protecting the players’ personal and banking details. The payment providers and the casino games have all proven their integrity over many years of market presence.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a SA license, and because of this, players from the South Africa cannot join VoodooDreams Casino, but our best SA online casino list can come in handy for you.

VoodooDreams Casino is transparent when it comes to banking terms, payment options and the fees that come with deposits and withdrawals. For starters, there are NO FEES on deposits and withdrawals, with the exception of VISA and MasterCard, which carry a 2.5% deposit fee (*Note: credit card transactions not available in South Africa). The list of deposit options is long indeed, showcasing payment providers with international presence and ones that are focused on specific markets, such as Sofort, Trustly, iDEAL, iDebit and Zimpler for Instance. Players coming from South Africa have access to INSTADEBIT, whereas players from mainland Europe such as South Africa and Austria have Sofort at their disposal. Trustly has become a player favorite for players from Sweden and South Africa as well. Zimpler is the go-to deposit option for Swedish mobile players.

Withdrawal options are expectedly limited, and the notable payment methods that we can point out are Trsutly, Euteller, which is available to players from South Africa only, and EnterCash. Skrill and Neteller are listed as well.

There are 500+ online casino games of all kinds, but most of them are slots, which is absolutely acceptable. Players who are looking for some table game action can find a number of different Roulette tables, a number of poker tables and there are a couple of virtual blackjack games. It’s worth pointing out that there’s only one baccarat game. It’s safe to say, the table game offer is severely limited. However, the video poker collection is a different matter, and there a quite a lot of video poker games, featuring Deuces & Joker, Double Bonus Video Poker, All Aces and the starting point for all video poker players Jacks or Better.

In spite of the “Game Information” button underneath every game, there’s no information. We checked it, and it seems to be in beta phase, or under construction. This is certainly going to be a distinctive and neat feature of VoodooDreams Casino if completed and implemented.

VoodooDreams Casino’s top picks were at the time of the review The Phantom of the Opera, Planet of the Apes slot and Pink Elephants. They tend to be quite picky when it comes to the games they recommend. Jackpot slots are well-covered, including Major Millions Progressive slot, Mega Fortune, Mega Moolah and the rising star Hall of Gods.

VoodooDreams Casino is available to players who prefer playing online casino games on the go. The user-friendly mobile web app requires no downloads, yet it’s compatible with Android, iOS and Windows devices, both smartphones and tablets are supported. From a design perspective, we love VoodooDreams Casino mobile, but the user interface is not as intuitive as we’d hope for.

Still, the search box is advanced, allowing players to filter the games according their respective producer. Besides that, there aren’t any filters, nor you can sort the games alphabetically or by any other order. It is what it is, and you can’t change the order of the games. Nevertheless, an experienced online casino player will definitely enjoy the decent game collection.

Unfortunately, we were unable to test the live casino games on mobile.

Although we couldn’t test the live dealer casino games on smartphone and tablet, we did manage to do so on desktop. It’s non-other but NetEnt Live! The entire array of live dealer casino games is available at VoodooDreams Casino. This means that players can enjoy Blackjack and Roulette games only! Baccarat is for the time being not provided. Nonetheless, players can enjoy Live Roulette HD, Live Dealer French Roulette, Live Blackjack HD and the shining NetEnt Live’s jewel the Live Common Draw Blackjack, both for low and high rollers.

Usually, the live casino games produced by NetEnt Live are available for mobile play. We contact the live support of VoodooDreams Casino to learn more about this, and the feedback we received was not what we expected. For the time being, the live casino games are available for desktop play only!

The objective based, “magical” reward system is enough on its own to reward players for their loyalty. In practice, it works like a store, where the accepted currency are spells, which cost points. It sounds confusing, but once you enter VoodooDreams Casino, it doesn’t take to be an expert to digest this information, and the overall nature of the Spirit Points and the Experience Points.

The titles you get as you level up at VoodooDreams Casino do not “break character”. To illustrate, here’s an overview of the titles you can have at VoodooDreams Casino. In a way, they’re much like the VIP tiers in other online casinos:

• Player Titles
  Novice	Conjurer
  Apprentice	Shaman
  Disciple	Mage
  Adept	Mystic
  Elementalist	Diviner
  Illustionist	Witch
  Enchanter	Elder
  Nercomancer	Crusader
  Summoner	Guardian
  Master	High Priest
  Grand Master	Queen
  Priest	Oracle

Novice is the entry level, whereas Oracle is the highest player status at VoodooDreams Casino. Once you become an Oracle, you can get bonuses up to R110,000 with Light Magic, up to R19,500 with Dark Magic, up to 120 FS with Blood Magic, and staggering R65,500 in cash with Spirit Magic. The maximum prizes differ greatly from one level to another. It’s worth the effort!

We’re always eager to learn more about how an online casino treats casino players that are stuck, or need further assistance, regardless of the nature of the issue. The methods of contact are also important, but in recent times, live chat has become the number one casino player option. As it turns out, the VoodooDreams Casino offers live chat support only. There’s also email support available at [email protected], but it’s not displayed appropriately. Players need to actually enter the T&C to find this address. Nevertheless, we found it for you!

Phone support is not provided, which might come off as a flaw, but considering the level of service the agents offer via live chat, it’s not entirely necessary. We found the customer service representative friendly, professional and courteous in any aspect. The information we requested was provided in a timely fashion, and we also received additional information that applied to us specifically. This is extremely important, because players from different region are subject to different terms and conditions.

The list of countries which are eligible for the welcome bonus offer is the best and most accurate indicator of what markets are special in the eyes of VoodooDreams Casino. No wonder VoodooDreams Casino is available in English, South African, Norwegian, Swedish and South African. Hopefully, VoodooDreams Casino is going to obtain a SA license in the foreseeable future, because we’d like to recommend it to SA players as well, the main reason, the unique reward system.

It’s not just about the bonuses and the language options, it’s the payment options as well! They’re tailored in a way to please players from all of the regions we already stated that are prime targets of VoodooDreams Casino. This is essential!

It was our pleasure to prepare this VoodooDreams Casino review, mainly because it was a refreshing experience. After all, it’s been some time since we got the opportunity to review a casino with a distinctive theme. Magic, mystic, sorcerers and shamans sound quite interesting indeed. Do you like to become one? In the world of online gaming? The VoodooDreams Casino provides you with the setting you’re looking for. Slots, table games, live games, everything is on the spot! Please, don’t forget about the welcome bonus. It’s just so generous! Up to R20,000 in bonus money!
